Aleix Espargaro will return to action this weekend in Valencia for the final race of the 2017 MotoGP season, with his Aprilia team going (RED) for the second year in a row.
Both Espargaro and team-mate Sam Lowes will run a special (RED) livery for the race in partnership with the AIDS charity.
Espargaro missed out on the penultimate race of the year due to a hand injury he sustained at the previous round at Phillip Island. However after a successful round of surgery, he has been declared fit to take part this weekend.
“I can't wait to get back in the saddle," said the Spaniard. "I have missed the RS-GP!
"I was sorry to miss the Malaysia round due to the injury. Unfortunately ours is a dangerous sport and these things can happen.
"I am confident. My hand is better and despite the fact that there is still some pain, I will give 100 percent. The entire team and I deserve to finish this season well.
"We have worked hard and we want to tackle preparation for 2018 with the right confidence."
Aprilia is currently tied for fifth in the Constructors' Championship with KTM, therefore the race is an important one to score well in to avoid finishing dead last in the standings.
