Formula E has unveiled the track layout for the upcoming Rome round of the all-electric series, which is set to take place in mid-April.
The series three champions, Nelson Piquet Jr., Sébastien Buemi and Lucas di Grassi, were all present during the unveiling of the The Circuto Cittadino dell'EUR, with each completing a demonstration in their respective cars on the city streets.
Also present was local driver Luca Filippi, Formula E CEO Alejandro Agag and Rome's mayor, Virginia Raggi.
The circuit will be the second longest on the 2017/18 calendar at 1.77 miles and features 21 turns, with the start/finish straight located on the Via Cristoforo Colombo.
"I'm excited to be here today to present the first ever e-Prix in Rome," said Agag. "It will be a spectacular event that will engage and entertain the Roman citizens, as well as create a number of benefits for the city.
"The circuit looks long and challenging for the drivers – I'd thank everyone who made it happen, bringing Formula E to the Eternal City."
