Abt Audi Sport’s Lucas di Grassi and Mahindra’s Felix Rosenqvist were quickest in Sunday’s two Montreal ePrix practice sessions.
Following on from his race one victory on Saturday, di Grassi enters the final day of the 2016/2017 season with an 18-point lead in the championship.
During the opening 45-minute session, di Grassi set a new unofficial lap record of 1:21.442 to end practice one at the top of the timesheets.
Nicolas Prost finished second for Renault e.dams, four tenths behind di Grassi, with title rival Sebastien Buemi starting his day off with P3.
Antonio Felix da Costa was fourth, ahead of Rosenqvist and DS Virgin Racing’s Jose Maria Lopez and Sam Bird. Mitch Evans was next up for Jagaur.
Race one podium finishers Jean-Eric Vergne and Stephane Sarrazin were 10th and 15th for Techeetah.
Rosenqvist then ended FP2 at the top of the leaderboard, after the 30-minute session, with a best time of 1:21.183 – another new track record.
He was just one tenth ahead of Buemi, with Lopez, Bird and Loic Duval next up. Daniel Abt and Oliver Turvey were sixth and seventh.
Vergne was eighth, with di Grassi ninth and Prost 10th. Nelson Piquet Jr. was 12th despite late contact with the barrier.
