Prema’s Callum Ilott claimed victory during the final race of the opening round of the European Formula 3 Championship at Silverstone on Sunday morning.
Ilott started from pole position but, as in the second race, lost the lead to Motopark rival Joel Eriksson, who went around the outside through Brooklands.
However, Ilott remained glued to the rear of his rival and swept past into Stowe, moving into a lead which he would not relinquish, ultimately finishing comfortably clear.
Eriksson had a sufficient buffer back to McLaren junior Lando Norris, who once again bogged down from the front row before battling through to third, via a move on Maximilian Gunther into Stowe.
Gunther kept Carlin pair Jake Dennis and Jehan Daruvala at bay to secure fourth position, while one-time Force India tester Nikita Mazepin took his best F3 result with seventh.
Joey Mawson, Harrison Newey and Ralf Aron completed the top 10, with Prema pair Mick Schumacher and Guan Yu Zhou dropping out of contention after separate incidents early on.
