The FIA Formula 3 European Championship has released its 2017 season entry list and confirmed the race numbers each driver has chosen for the season.

The grid will consist of 20 cars from five teams, though only 18 drivers have so far been confirmed with both Carlin and Motopark yet to confirm their fourth drivers.

Also absent from the list are both the Mucke and T-Sport teams. Both appeared on the provisional entry list, but it's believed they were unable to attract enough drivers to fill their four respective seats.

As with Formula 1, drivers can now choose their own race number. With Lance Stroll winning the series last year before moving up to F1 with the Williams team, the #1 has been assigned to rookie champion Joel Eriksson.
