Former Williams chief technical officer Pat Symonds will join Sky Sports F1 this season following his departure from the Grove outfit.
Symonds will commentate and provide technical analysis during select races during the 2017 Formula 1 season for the broadcaster, starting with the season opener in Melbourne in late-March.
"I have always been impressed with the quality and innovation of Sky’s F1 coverage," commented Symonds. "It feels like a really exciting time to join the team ahead of such an unpredictable season and with all races being shown in UHD, it will be even more visually dramatic at every turn."
He joins commentators Martin Brundle and David Croft as well as Damon Hill, Johnny Herbert, Simon Lazenby, Natalie Pinkham, Ted Kravitz, Rachel Brookes, Paul Di Resta and Anthony Davidson.
"Pat will make a brilliant addition to our team, bringing a wealth of experience to Sky Sports F1," Sky Sports head of F1, Martin Turner added.
