The DAMS team has confirmed its driver line-up for the 2017 GP3 season, while Arjun Maini has been announced at Jenzer.
Haas F1 development driver Santino Ferrucci remains at DAMS for a second season, while newly-confirmed Sauber development driver Tatiana Calderón switches over from Arden.
Rookie racer Bruno Baptista joins them after racing in Formula Renault 2.0 last year, but he has already sampled GP3 machinery at last year’s post-season Abu Dhabi test.
“2016 was our first year in GP3 and we achieved some very strong results, confirming our potential and improving throughout the season,” said Jean-Paul Driot.
“We are delighted to have such a strong line-up this year. Santino showed incredible pace during his first season and we gained vital experience that will see us regularly fight for wins this year.
“We have known Tatiana for some time and followed her progress throughout 2016. She’s very focused and dedicated, so we are confident of achieving some good results together.
“Bruno will be the rookie in the team, this will be a good chance for him to learn from the team’s experience. He performed very well in the test and I’m sure he will be competitive from the start.”
Meanwhile Arjun Maini will remain at the Jenzer team for a second season in GP3 after finishing 10th in the standings last year.
He is the first driver to be announced by Jenzer for the up-coming GP3 campaign. Maini said: “I am very excited to drive for Jenzer Motorsport for the second year in a row; I had a good 2016 season in the GP3, and got my first podium as well.
“I’m hoping to perform more consistently this year, starting with a complete season, and am look forward to getting my first win in GP3. I missed out on critical testing last year, and am looking forward to 2017.”
