Aston Martin Racing will seek to defend its World Endurance Championship GT titles with a largely unchanged driver lineup in 2017.
Reigning drivers' champions Nicki Thiim and Marco Sørensen will return in the #95 Aston Martin Vantage, while Darren Turner and Jonny Adam are slated to share the sister #97 car.
Eight entries have been confirmed for the GTE-Pro category in 2017, with Aston Martin facing stiff competition from Ferrari, Porsche and Ford as it aims to defend its teams' crown from last season.
The Prodrive-run squad will also run a car in the GTE-Am class for Paul Dalla Lana, Pedro Lamy and Mathias Lauda.
"The winter break has been long and I can’t wait to get started again," said Thiim, who alongside Sørensen beat Ferrari pair Davide Rigon and Sam Bird to the last year's GTE-Pro title.
"For me, the best racing at the moment is in the GT championships where the cars are so close and well balanced."
"With more competition it couldn’t be better than to be joined by Marco again to defend our title."
Joining AMR stalwart Darren Turner in the #97 car is Jonny Adam, who joins the team's WEC roster on a full-time basis having won the previous two editions of the British GT Championship.
The 32-year-old made three race apperances for the team in the last season's WEC season, including one with Turner at the season-ending 6 Hours of Bahrain.
Turner, meanwhile, claimed the 2016 European Le Mans Series GT title with Aston Martin-affiliated outfit Beechdean Racing.
“Partnering with Darren is something I’m very much looking forward to," said Adam.
"We’ve raced together on and off for the past couple of years, so it’s incredibly exciting to announce that I’ll be joining someone with that experience and speed on a full time basis."
"He’s a great ambassador on and off the track for Aston Martin and we work well together. We both drive in a similar style and get the best out of each other and the car and I think that will shape up to be a great partnership this year."
The 2017 World Endurance Championship gets underway at Silverstone on April 16.
