Ducati has revealed its new livery ahead of the 2017 MotoGP season, with riders Jorge Lorenzo and Andrea Dovizioso appearing at a presentation on Friday.
Ducati claim its first MotoGP race victory in six years in 2016 when Andrea Iannone led a one-two finish at the Austrian Grand Prix in Spielberg, with team-mate Dovizioso also picking up a win in Malaysia later in the season.
Iannone was dropped by Ducati to make way for three-time MotoGP champion Lorenzo, who arrives from Yamaha after spending his entire career to date in the premier class with the Japanese manufacturer.
Lorenzo and Dovizioso lifted the covers off Ducati's new livery at the presentation in Bologna on Friday, with the design being applied to its 2017 bike, the Desmosedici GP16. The bike was absent of the now-banned winglets, which Ducati has raced with since 2015.
The GP17 will appear in its new colours for the first time at the end of the month when pre-season testing begins at Sepang.
