NASCAR veteran Michael McDowell will return to the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup series in 2017 with the Leavine Family Racing outfit.
He will race the No. 95 Chevrolet SS and has been signed for all 36 races, which makes the team Chase eligible for the first time since it began in 2011.
Championship-winning NASCAR crew chief Todd Parrott also returns to the team full-time for 2017.
It will be McDowell’s 10th year racing in NASCAR, scoring his first national win in the Xfinity series at Road America in 2016.
“I'm excited to be returning full time with LFR for the 2017 season," he explained.
“I look forward to continuing to work with Todd as well and kicking off our season with a strong start at the Daytona 500 in February.”
