Porsche has confirmed the arrival of Andre Lotterer, Nick Tandy and Earl Bamber to its LMP1 line-up for the 2017 FIA World Endurance Championship season following its Night of Champions event in Germany.

Porsche was left with three seats to fill ahead of the 2017 season following Mark Webber's retirement and the decision to relocate WEC champions Marc Lieb and Romain Dumas within its motorsport programme.

Three-time Le Mans winner Lotterer has been drafted in from Audi, with the manufacturer ending its LMP1 programme at the end of the 2016 season, while both Tandy and Bamber have been part of Porsche's GT line-up through this year. The pair won Le Mans in 2015 alongside Formula 1 Nico Hulkenberg.

Lotterer and Tandy will slot into the #1 Porsche 919 Hybrid for the 2017 season alongside defending champion Neel Jani, while Bamber will join Brendon Hartley and Timo Bernhard in the #2 car.

Porsche also confirmed part of its line-up for its revived GTE programme in the WEC, with a new pair of 911 RSR cars set to enter the GTE Pro class from 2017 after no factory operation was fielded this year.

Michael Christensen, Frédéric Makowiecki and Richard Lietz will take three seats in Porsche's GT line-up, with the remaining seats still to be confirmed.
