ART Grand Prix’s three drivers running on the opening day of the GP3 Abu Dhabi post-season test finished at the top of the timesheets.
Honda protégé Nirei Fukuzumi led the way after a late 1m55.479s, finishing ahead of 2016 Arden driver and fellow ART GP runner Jack Aitken.
Formula 3 racer George Russell also drove for the French outfit on day one of the GP3 test, finishing in third place to make it an ART GP clean-sweep.
Trident's Arjun Maini was fourth quickest, with DAMS racer Santino Ferrucci fifth and Maini’s testing team-mate Alessio Lorandi in sixth.
Raoul Hyman in the second DAMS machine was seventh, with Jean Alesi’s son Giuliano in eighth for Trident.
DAMS’ Steijn Schothorst and Trident’s Ryan Tveter, who raced in Formula 3 this year, rounded out the top 10.
The vast majority of the quickest times on day one of the test were set in the afternoon session, as GP3 alternated running with GP2 at the Yas Marina Circuit.
Two red flags interrupted the GP3 running, first for Maini stopping on track and then later on for debris.
