MotoGP champion Jorge Lorenzo tested a Mercedes Formula 1 car on Thursday at the Silverstone circuit in Northamptonshire, which the Yamaha rider described as a "dream come true".
Monster Energy, which sponsors both Lorenzo and the Mercedes F1 outfit, organised the test.
The Spaniard got behind the wheel of Lewis Hamilton's 2014 championship winning W04 and completed a number of laps during the course of the day.
In preparation for the test, Lorenzo drove a number of single seater cars, including a Dallara GP2/05 car, to familiarise himself with the Silverstone circuit on four wheels, instead of two.
