Formula 3 driver Alessio Lorandi has joined the Jenzer Motorsport team for the final two GP3 races of the 2016 season.
The Italian driver has been racing for Carlin in the FIA Formula E European Championship but has opted to switch to GP3 for the remainder of the year.
The 18-year-old won the Pau Grand Prix earlier this year but called a halt on his F3 season after the Spa-Francorchamps round.
He has now switched to Jenzer in GP3 for the final two races in Malaysia and Abu Dhabi, with practice at the Sepang circuit being his first taste of the car.
“We are pleased to have a race winner from the FIA F3 Euroseries in our team,” said Andreas Jenzer.
“Alessio has done the maximum preparation possible in the simulator and with our engineers and we are looking forward to see him in our car.”
