Tech 3’s Alex Lowes will miss the Aragon Grand Prix qualifying session after a crash during third practice on Saturday morning.
Lowes is standing in for the injured Bradley Smith for a third weekend in a row. He fell at Turn 19 during FP3 and limped away from his bike.
He finished the session at the bottom of the standings and was taken to the medical centre for assessment.
Tech 3 later confirmed that Lowes will not take part in qualifying later this afternoon due to the crash.
He will be checked over by medical staff on Sunday morning to determine whether or not he will be able to race in the 14th round of the season.
Should he be declared fit to race, Lowes will line up for the Spanish race in 21st place on the grid.
