Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff has criticised Haas driver Esteban Gutierrez for failing to move out of the way of race leaders as they come to lap him, with the Mexican having been penalised already this year for ignoring blue flags.
Race winner Nico Rosberg was locked in a tight battle with Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo in Singapore, with the pair split by the smallest of margins as they entered into the final laps of the race. However traffic posed a problem for the pair, slowing their progress and allowing Ricciardo to catch up at points and Rosberg to pull away at others.
Wolff was particularly frustrated with Gutierrez who he described as "crusing around" and "interfering" with the battle for the lead when he should have been moving out of the way, as Felipe Massa – who Gutierrez was battling with over P11 at the time – did.
"Gutierrez at least makes it the same for everybody, he doesn't let anybody overtake," Wolff said after the race.
"Honestly, we need to say there is a fight for a race win going on between two guys fighting for every tenth, and then you have one guy cruising around and interfering in the race and it happens to always be the same guy!
"We were shouting to Charlie [Whiting]," he added. "Felipe got out of the way and Esteban, who is a lovely boy, continued to cruise out there and was enjoying the gap he had made to Felipe."
Gutierrez has been criticised for the way he handles blue flags on several occasions this season and was even penalised earlier this year for ignoring them.
