Max Chilton will pay tribute to 1976 Formula 1 world champion James Hunt this weekend with a special helmet design for IndyCar's return to Watkins Glen.
Ex-F1 driver Chilton joined Chip Ganassi Racing at the beginning of the 2016 season after finishing fifth in Indy Lights last year. The Briton has recorded a best result of P7 so far in IndyCar.
For the penultimate race of the season at Watkins Glen, Chilton will race with a helmet design that pays tribute to Hunt, running a similar colour scheme and with Chilton's name in bold print on either side.
Hunt won the United States Grand Prix at Watkins Glen in 1976 during his championship year, beating Jody Scheckter and fierce rival Niki Lauda.
