Race stewards have confirmed that seven GP2 Series drivers have been handed 10-second time penalties for using DRS too early during Sunday's Belgian Sprint Race.
Sergey Sirotkin, Jordan King, Alex Lynn, Arthur Pic, Daniel de Jong, Nabil Jeffri and Jimmy Eriksson were found to have used DRS on the opening lap of the race, which isn't permitted.
All have had 10 seconds added to their race times, though only two of the drivers penalised, Lynn and King, finished in the points. They both drop out of the top eight as a result of the time addition and lose their points.
Oliver Rowland moves up to sixth, Sergio Canamasas to seventh and Norman Nato to eighth.
