Koiranen GP’s Ralph Boschung has been given a grid penalty for the first race at Spa-Francorchamps after a collision in the second Hockenheimring race.
Boschung made contact with Trident’s Artur Janosz at the sixth corner on the opening lap of race two in Germany.
Both drivers were taken out of the race due to damage sustained in the incident, with the stewards deeming Boschung was at fault.
He was handed a three-place grid penalty after the race in Hockenheim, which will be applied at the first race at Spa in Belgium.
Sunday’s GP3 race in Germany was won by DAMS racer Jake Hughes, finishing ahead of Arden’s Jack Aitken and ART Grand Prix’s Charles Leclerc.
