Carlin driver Sergio Canamasas has been handed a three-place grid penalty for the fifth round on the GP2 Series calendar at Silverstone for "unsporting behaviour".
The Spaniard "was found guilty of showing unsporting behavior towards Oliver Rowland [MP Motorsport] after the chequered flag. This continued during the slow-down lap and following the practice starts," confirmed a statement from race control.
Canamasas will therefore start Saturday's Feature Race three places lower than he qualifies.
Pierre Gasly ended practice quickest ahead of Sergey Sirotkin and Arthur Pic.
