Sebastien Buemi will start the final Formula E race of the 2015/2016 season and the second London ePrix of the weekend from pole position.
The Renault e.Dams driver put in a 1m22.033 to smash the previous pacesetter, his team-mate Nicolas Prost, and claim the three points for pole.
The result draws Buemi level on points with championship rival Lucas di Grassi ahead of the season finale at Battersea Park.
Prost was nine tenths slower in second place, with Abt driver di Grassi in third and Oliver Turvey fourth for NEXTEV. Nick Heidfeld made it through to Super Pole for Mahindra and will line up fifth.
The rest of the grid was decided in the earlier group segments, with Daniel Abt and Jean-Eric Vergne just missing out on spots in the final session.
Sam Bird and Nelson Piquet Jr will start eighth and ninth, with Loic Duval completing the top 10 for Dragon Racing.
His team-mate Jerome d’Ambrosio was next up, ahead of Mike Conway and Saturday’s race runner-up Bruno Senna.
Antonio Felix da Costa was 14th, with Stephane Sarrazin and Andretti’s Robin Frijns next up. Simona de Silvestro and Ma Qing Hua rounded out the qualifying results.
Duval will drop to the back of the grid due to a gearbox change penalty, having qualified 10th for the race.
