Sebastien Buemi set the pace in first practice for the second London ePrix race, but the second session was cancelled due to a charging infrastructure problem.
The opening 45-minute session was an eventful one, with Buemi emerging at the top of the timesheets after a late lap with a 1m22.393 – a new unofficial lap record at the Battersea Park track.
He finished six tenths clear of e.Dams Renault team-mate and race one winner Nicolas Porst, with Jean-Eric Vergne in third place.
Mike Conway was fourth and the final driver to complete a 200kw, full power lap. The Abt duo of Lucas di Grassi and Daniel Abt were fifth and sixth.
Sam Bird was in seventh place, with Loic Duval, Jerome d’Ambrosio and race one runner-up Bruno Senna rounding out the top 10.
The session included one red flag for an incident involving Simona de Silvestro, Ma Qing Hua and Antonio Felix da Costa.
De Silvestro brushed the wall at the final corner, breaking her rear suspension. She limped around to the pits but Ma slowed in avoidance, with da Costa running into the back of his team-mate.
His car was left stranded across the track, so the session was red flagged for his Aguri car to be cleared.
Second practice was cancelled after problems some teams were experiencing with the charging infrastructure. Formula E opted to not run the 30-minute session.
