Nico Rosberg continued his strong form through final practice for the Spanish Grand Prix has he finished top of the timing screens once again, a tenth ahead of Mercedes team-mate Lewis Hamilton.
However the German's session wasn't without concern after he reported a problem just as he left the pits, forcing Rosberg to crawl back to his garage at slow pace.
But that didn't seem to trouble him for long as he was quickly back out and lapping in the low 1m23's.
Sebastian Vettel was third quickest, just two-hundredths off Hamilton to remain within two-tenths of the Mercedes cars as Ferrari seeks its first victory of the season.
Max Verstappen was fourth as he beat new team-mate Daniel Ricciardo who was fifth, a tenth slower than the newly-appointed Red Bull driver.
Kimi Raikkonen couldn't quite match the pace set by his team-mate, ending up sixth fastest, a second down on Rosberg and almost nine-tenths down on Vettel.
Williams' Valtteri Bottas, Force India's Sergio Perez, Toro Rosso's Daniil Kvyat and McLaren's Fernando Alonso completed the top ten.
