Pramac's Danilo Petrucci will return to the MotoGP grid at next weekend's French Grand Prix, having missed four races whilst recovering from a hand injury.
The Italian suffered a high-speed crash during pre-season testing earlier this year and broke three metacarpals in his right hand, which required two lots of surgery to repair.
As a result, he pulled out of the season-opening Qatar GP and a further three races in Argentina, the US and Spain where reserve Michele Pirro replaced him.
Petrucci now believes he's in a position to return next weekend: "I'm happy to be back and I feel good," he said.
"We must see the reaction to the first impact with the track as the intense workout made at home certainly cannot be compared to a race weekend, but I'm very confident.
"I want to thank all the people who helped me."
