Red Bull release ‘Aeroscreen’ test videos as Ricciardo debuts device

Daniel Ricciardo debuted Red Bull's 'Aeroscreen' head protection device on his RB12 during first practice for the Russian Grand Prix, completing a single installation lap to check the visibility it affords a driver.

Meanwhile the team released two videos of the device undergoing FIA static load tests, which saw a one kilo weight fired at the canopy at a speed of 230kph and the second shows a tyre being fired at the canopy – which shows it making slight contact with the helmet.
