Will Power ended final practice for the Honda IndyCar Grand Prix of Alabama quickest on Saturday ahead of qualifying for the event.
The Team Penske-Chevrolet driver's 1m07.0198s lap was good enough to see him beat Ganassi's Scott Dixon – who has never been off the podium in Barber since 2010 – by just 0.0975s.
Whilst the top two positions were occupied by Chevrolet power, Honda still look to be in a strong position with third and fourth thanks to Schmidt Peterson's James Hinchcliffe Andretti Autosport's Carlos Munoz respectively.
The second Penske of Simon Pagenaud completed the top five positions, with Sebastien Bourdais, Juan Pablo Montoya, Mikhail Aleshin, Josef Newgarden and Graham Rahal completing the top ten.
FP3 saw two red-flags thanks to a spin from Max Chilton in the #8 Ganassi and again when Takuma Sato dropped his AJ Foyt Racing-Honda in the gravel at Turn 5.
