Third practice for this weekend’s FIA World Endurance Championship 6 Hours of Silverstone was cut short due to sleet and snow.
Conditions were treacherous throughout the session, but several drivers did head out onto the circuit for installation laps.
There was just 12 minutes of green flag running in total, with two red flags before the session was wrapped up early with 25 minutes still left on the clock.
Anthony Davidson was one of the drivers to briefly take to the track but he went off in his No. 5 Toyota TS050 Hybrid, beaching the LMP1 prototype in the gravel.
Rain showers and sleet fell early in the session before the showers turned to snow. Qualifying is set to take place at 11:50am at Silverstone.
