0,0 Marc VDS rider Jack Miller will not take part in the Grand Prix of the Americas at Austin's CIrcuit of the Americas this weekend after breaking his fifth metatarsal in his right-foot.
The Australian suffered a fall in first practice, but following an x-ray on his right-leg – which he previously broke during a motocross training accident earlier this year – he was given the all clear to take part in the remainder of the weekend.
However following third practice and further medical checks, it was found that Miller had broken his fifth metatarsal in his right-foot and he would therefore be withdrawing from the race on Sunday, having not taken part in qualifying.
It's hoped Miller will be fit to return to action at the next round in Jerez in late-April.
