British team Strakka Racing set the pace in LMP2 as Jonny Kane posted a best time of 1:46.976 in the afternoon session, while the new Manor WEC team made its public on-track debut.

Teams will be afforded another two sessions of running on Saturday at Paul Ricard as the Prologue comes to a close.
