Kimi Raikkonen finished the penultimate test day quickest for Ferrari and in the process posted the quickest lap seen during testing so far.

The Finn posted his best lap, a 1:22.765, on the new Ultra-Soft tyre during the morning session, but prior to that he surprised the paddock by running the new Halo concept for a single lap to test its visibility.

Felipe Massa finished second quickest, albeit half a second down on Raikkonen's best using the slower soft tyre.

Nico Hulkenberg and Max Verstappen also lapped on the Ultra-Soft tyre, finishing third and fourth respectively. The latter completing 159 laps in the process.

Nico Rosberg was fifth for Mercedes and handed his car over to team-mate Lewis Hamilton in the afternoon, though the Briton was only 11th fastest having used the Medium tyre.

Felipe Nasr was sixth for Sauber finishing ahead of McLaren's Fernando Alonso who set his fastest lap on the Super-Soft tyre.

Haas' troubles continued with Romain Grosjean causing three red flags. Two for spins which saw him end up in the gravel and a third for a yet unknown issue. However he managed 78 laps.
