McLaren made up for a poor final test day by completing an issue-free filming day at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on Friday.
The team opened the test in much better shape than 2015, completing more laps on the opening day than they managed across all four days of last years Jerez test. That form continued on the Tuesday and Wednesday, with Jenson Button and Fernando Alonso completing 254 laps.
However come the final day, Alonso managed just three laps before he was confined to the garage for the remainder of the day with a coolant leak.
McLaren insisted the problem was "minor" but timely to repair, and that seemed the case with the team completing the allowed 100km of running over the course of the day, split between Button and Alonso.
A team spokesperson is quoted by F1i as saying there were "no issues with the running at all throughout the day".
McLaren had always planned to run a filming day on the day after the opening test, as it did last year.
