Swedish racer Gustav Malja will partner Arthur Pic at Rapax for the 2016 GP2 season.
Malja made his series debut in Belgium with Trident last year, scoring points, before further outings with Rapax at the final rounds in Bahrain and Abu Dhabi.
“This is an incredible opportunity, and I’m just thrilled that my preferred option for 2016 has now become a reality,” Malja said.
“Racing in GP2 this season will be a massive challenge, but also a real pleasure and something I can’t wait to do.
“I really enjoyed working with Rapax towards the end of last year and learned a lot, so I have the benefit of feeling well at home going into my rookie campaign.
“I hope to take considerable steps throughout the season and I really want to thank the team and everyone around me for making this possible.”
The first round of collective GP2 testing ahead of the 2016 season kicks off on March 9.
