The FIM and Dorna have finalised the calendar for the 2016 MotoGP season ahead of the first race of the year in Qatar on March 20.
There are no changes on the updated schedule from the last provisional edition of the calendar that was issued back in November, featuring 18 rounds with the finale taking place in Valencia on November 13.
The Indianapolis Grand Prix at Indianapolis Motor Speedway has been dropped after event organisers and Dorna mutually agreed to terminate the contract early, leaving the Circuit of The Americas as the only American circuit on the calendar.
This has paved the way for the Austrian Grand Prix to be added to the schedule, with a race set to be held at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg on August 14.
The British Grand Prix will once again take up its usual end of summer slot at Silverstone on September 4.
