The GP2 series has confirmed the pre-season testing dates for 2016, with running kicking off in March.
It will be the F1 feeder championship’s 12 season. The full race calendar will be released at a later date, the series has confirmed.
Both three-day events will take place in Spain. The first GP2 test will take place from the 9-11 March at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
Cars will then hit the track for the second time from the 29-31 March at the Circuito de Jerez.
The driver line-up for the new season is starting to take shape, with Russian Time and Racing Engineering recently making announcements.
Stoffel Vandoorne dominated GP2 in 2015, claiming the championship in his second season with ART Grand Prix.
