Kimi Raikkonen posted the quickest lap over the entire four days on the final day of the Jerez test to put Ferrari top, as F1 takes a two-week break before the second test in Barcelona.

The Finn posted his best lap in the later afternoon to go quickest, with nobody coming close to his 1:20.841 benchmark which beat team-mate Sebastian Vettel’s lap from Monday.

Sauber’s Marcus Ericsson was second, abeit over a second down on the Ferrari, whilst Lewis Hamilton completed the most running in his Mercedes, despite a few early setbacks including a spin.

Max Verstappen was fourth ahead of Williams’ Felipe Massa and the Lotus of Romain Grosjean who made his debut in the E23 Hybrid. He racked up 53 laps before a power unit ended his day early.

Red Bull didn’t enjoy the best day with Daniil Kvyat who’s early red flag halted the session. An ERS issue was to blame and he was soon back out to complete a total of 63 laps.

McLaren’s Jenson Button was last and enjoyed a relatively good day for the team, posting 35 laps despite an oil issue in the morning which delayed his outing.
