Toro Rosso has confirmed its 2015 car, likely to be named the STR10 to follow tradition, has passed the mandatory FIA crash tests.
All cars must pass the rigorous tests before they can take part in any on-track activity including pre-season testing.
McLaren and Sauber are the only other teams to have confirmed they too have passed the tests with the MP4-30 and C34 respectively.
Toro Rosso has yet to confirm a launch date for its 2015 car but it’s believed it will launch on the first day of the opening Jerez test on February 1st.
