Lewis Hamilton edged Nico Rosberg in second practice on Friday afternoon in Abu Dhabi under the setting sun to go quickest once again.

The pair were fairly evenly matched with less than a tenth separating them, but Rosberg will need to deliver more if he’s to win on Sunday and snatch the title.

McLaren’s Kevin Magnussen put to good use McLaren’s upgrades to go third fastest, just eight tenths off with the Red Bull of Sebastian Vettel fourth.

Williams recovered from an eventful weight-shedding FP1 to take fifth with Valtteri Bottas, whilst team-mate Felipe Massa was tenth.
