Red Bull will continue to powered by Renault in 2015, team principal Christian Horner confirmed on Friday during the Canadian Grand Prix weekend.
Various reports suggest Red Bull is looking to split with Renault following the French manufacturers troubles this season, with some media outlets even suggesting Volkswagen would power the team in 2015.
That’s not the case according to Horner, though he admitted the contract would likely be reviewed ahead of the 2016 season.
“It is 100 per cent next year we will be powered by a Renault engine,” he said.
“We have a multi-year deal with Renault, but as with any agreement there are always performance criteria associated with that.
“But we are not considering any alternatives at this point in time.”
