Pirelli has confirmed which days of in-season testing each team will be required to dedicate to gathering tyre data for the manufacturer.

An agreement between the teams, Pirelli and the FIA saw a new rule written into the regulations for 2014, which means each team must use one day from its in-season testing allocation to dedicate to developing Pirelli’s current tyres.

There are three in-season tests which will come immediately after three races, taking place at the same venue. Bahrain, Spain and Britain.

Caterham will test the tyres on the first day of the Bahrain test, whilst Mercedes and Williams will take over on the second day.

Following that, Sauber and Toro Rosso will be on hand during the first day of the Spanish test with McLaren and Force India following.

Finally, Ferrari and Lotus will test after the British GP before Red Bull and Marussia take over Pirelli’s programme on the second day.

The final test, an end of season two-day test in Abu Dhabi will then see the teams supplied with prototype 2015 tyres, of which they must also spend a day testing as per article 22.6h of the regulations.
