Mercedes and Williams look like the ones to watch if testing data is anything to go by. The two teams, which are both using the Mercedes power unit, lapped at a similar pace and completed a similar numbers of laps.
Mercedes completed 4,967km over the 12 days of pre-season testing, whilst Williams was just 70km off that total.
Ferrari meanwhile completed 4,488km as it quietly went about its own business and its engine proved relatively reliable too.
The fastest time came from Felipe Massa on Saturday. His 1:33.258 was just 0.02 seconds quicker than Lewis Hamilton’s best though. Williams and Mercedes dominated the top four positions with Fernando Alonso in fifth, but a whole second off the fastest time.
