Esteban Gutierrez and Max Chilton have both been handed penalties for blocking other cars during qualifying.
Sauber’s Gutierrez was weaving as he tried to warm his tyres, but failed to see Pastor Maldonado coming up behind him and caused the Williams driver to take avoiding action.
The stewards deemed it “dangerous driving” and penalised the Mexican with a 10-place penalty, dropping him from 10th to 20th.
Marussia’s Chilton also blocked Maldonado as well as Force India’s Adrian Sutil in Q1.
As the Briton qualified last, the stewards have given him a drive-through penalty for the race, which must be served in the first five laps.
It’s only the second time such a penalty has been given after Charles Pic was hit with the same punishment in Japan this year.
