The FIA has published the final calendar for the 2014 season, which will see a record 22-races and includes both Mexico and New Jersey.
Whilst some events remain provisional, the calendar has been signed off by the governing body and as long as those events meet their contractual requirements, they will go ahead.
It comes just a few weeks after New Jersey was left off a calendar which was circulated amongst the teams. However the organisers of the new race, opposite New York City, have paid the required fee and secured their slot on June 1st.
Mexico returns for the first time since 1992 and is also provisional, as is the Korean Grand Prix. It’s organisers are yet to accept the proposed late-April date as it falls so soon after the 2013 race.
The schedule is the longest in F1’s history, beginning in Australia on March 16th and ending in Brazil on November 30th.
