Bernie Ecclestone has implemented a new way in which team motorhomes and hospitality units will be ordered in future.
At present, the team motorhomes are ordered in championship position from the previous season, like the way in which the garages are ordered. This means a team garage and motorhome are often opposite one another. This results in the drivers and team members spending very little time in the paddock as they sprint between the two.
Ecclestone is keen for them to spend more time in the paddock, making it easier for the media, fans and other team personnel to interact.
Motorhomes will, from the Bahrain Grand Prix onwards, be ordered randomly, forcing personnel to spend more time going to and from each location.
