Felipe Massa topped the times as practice on Friday for the Chinese Grand Prix came to a close. The Brazilian posting a 1:35.340 to jump ahead of Lotus’s Kimi Raikkonen bu just over a tenth and a half.
The Ferrari driver’s team-mate Fernando Alonso was third quickest, albeit almost half a second down, whilst FP1 leader Nico Rosberg held fourth.
Mark Webber was the highest ranked Red Bull with Sebastian Vettel back in 10th, some 1.4 seconds slower than Massa’s best.
