Adrian Sutil and Jules Bianchi will both get the opportunity to impress Force India during the second pre-season test in Barcelona this week.
The pair are vying for the final seat on the grid alongside Paul di Resta, who will test on Tuesday and Wednesday, before handing the car over to Sutil on Thursday.
The German is a former Force India driver but was dropped at the end of 2011 in favour of Nico Hulkenberg. He was also charged with GBH following a nightclub brawl in 2011 in which he was handed an 18-month suspended prison sentence and a £170,000 fine.
Sutil underwent a seat fitting earlier this week, prompting speculation he could be in line for the second seat.
However the team are continuing their evalution of Bianchi who drove during the Jerez test too. The Frenchman will drive on Friday.
