Sauber are the latest Formula One team to reveal their 2013 car at an event at their Hinwil factory in Switerland on Saturday.
Drivers Nico Hulkenberg and Esteban Gutierrez pulled the covers back on the C32 to unveil a largely grey colour scheme, not dissimilar to the 2010 HRT livery.
The car retains a stepped-nose, though it is partially hidden by raised sides which give the effect of a smoothed nose when viewed from the side.
The car is an evolution of the C31 according to chief designer Matt Morris: “The C31 was an extremely competitive car with many strengths. Our aim was to further improve these strengths and eliminate its few weaknesses.
“Over the course of last season we invested a lot of time and energy in developing a better understanding of our car. To this end, we focused primarily on the aerodynamic effects around the rear of the car. Our aero experts have done some great work in this respect, the basis of which has been used to develop the C32.”
