Force India will launch its 2013 challenger at Silverstone on February 1st, the team confirmed on Tuesday.
The outfit is the first to officially announce its launch date, though many including Sauber are believed to have opted to launch at the first test in Jerez.
Force India however, which also launched the VJM05 at the Silverstone circuit earlier this year, has opted to unveil its car a week before the first pre-season test.
“So we’ve pencilled in Friday 1st of February for the presentation of our 2013 car in the UK,” the team wrote on Twitter. “That’s the week before testing begins in Spain.”
They are yet to officially confirm their driver line-up, though Paul di Resta is believed to be safe whilst Adrian Sutil is chasing the second seat.
