FP2: Red Bull dominate second Indian practice

Red Bull dominated the second practice session for the Indian Grand Prix with Sebastian Vettel retaining the top spot following his good form in FP1.

The German sat ahead of his team-mate Mark Webber by just over a tenth, but the gap to third placed man Fernando Alonso was a further six tenths.

The pace of the RB8 will be of further concern for Ferrari who are struggling to provide Alonso with a car capable of challenging for wins in the latter stage of the season.

Nico Rosberg slotted in behind the Spaniard with Kimi Raikkonen leading the McLaren pairing.

The session was largely uneventful other than a few spins, two of which came courtesy of Felipe Massa who complained about his balance. The second spin all but ended his session.

Sergio Perez, who handed his car to Esteban Guttierez for FP1, jumped back into his Sauber to finish 12th quickest.
