Bruno Senna has been forced to change his gearbox ahead of the Singapore Grand Prix after the Williams team found it had been damaged in his contact with the wall during qualifying.
The Brazilian impacted the wall just before the penultimate corner with such force that it broke his right-rear suspension, leaving him without a time during Q2. That put him 17th.
He will however start 22nd after incurring a five-place penalty for the change.
Pedro de la Rosa will also change his gearbox, but having qualified last, his position won’t change.
