Sebastian Vettel remained quickest as the sun set over Singapore to bring darkness upon the Marina Bay street circuit.

The Red Bull driver outpaced McLaren’s Jenson Button by three tenths, but Lewis Hamilton looked likely to challenge the top time but ran wide on his flying lap losing him vital tenths.

Fernando Alonso continued his strong performance by posting the third quickest lap ahead of the second Red Bull belonging to Mark Webber.

The Force India duo look to be strong after moving up to sixth and seventh compared to seventh and eighth during FP1.
